• This gearbox needs reconditioning and came out of a mint condition 2010 Ford G6 Limited Edition LPG with 193,000kms.
• Transmission oil cooler had a crack and let radiator coolant into the gearbox.
• A new radiator and oil cooler was professionally installed and all fluid and transmission oils drained repeatedly.
• At 500kms the gearbox started slipping again for about 1km.
• The car was towed back to the garage and a reconditioned gearbox installed on this car as a precaution.
• After removal, the original gear box still showed some water in the oil that may have been trapped and not flushed.
